2 swimmers missing off PCB

PANAMA CITY BEACH — Two swimmers were missing in separate incidents late Saturday after entering the Gulf on a day that the National Weather Service warned of high risk of dangerous rip currents.

PANAMA CITY BEACH -- The body of a missing swimmer has been found on the beach near the county pier, according to Panama City Beach police.

The man was identified as Tony Underwood Jr. from Rex, Ga.

A second swimmer who went missing in the same area as Underwood was found and did not require medical treatment, PCB police reported Sunday.

But a third Panama City Beach swimmer who went missing Saturday night has not been found. Search efforts were continuing Sunday morning.
